Comparison of Compressive Strength Value of Concrete Using Pumice Sand with Ordinary Sand as Fine Aggregate

چکیده

In this study, the method according to Indonesian National Standard (SNI) was applied. The objects test in form of cylindrical concrete which fine aggregate pumice sand and ordinary sand. made were tested for compressive strength. There 6 study with a size 15 cm x 30 cm. detail, 3 sand, while other coarse all crushed stone. result shown use as substitute can reduce strength by 23.53%. However, it weight 7.03%. Therefore, construction that prioritizes weight, is better compared concreate aggregate.
